Tim stealin’ hearts again with some random woman at the Oz Bar, Tanglin Shopping Centre, Singapore

Tim Abel was born in Traralgon, Victoria, Australia in August 1979, but moved to Melbourne in 1999. After tiring of trying to keep up with the constant awe and bewilderment that comes with working in telemarketing, Tim decided to attend Victoria University of Technology and graduated in 2005 with what essentially amounted to a Bachelor of Attendance. Following this, he completed TESOL qualifications and worked as primary school teacher in Daejeon, Korea in 2007 to gain experience and then moved to Singapore in 2008, where he worked as an ESL teacher until February, 2015.

“Fried! I want it fried!”. Anna and a tarantula in Cambodia.

Dr. Anna Tan Cheng Sim was born in Singapore to parents of Chinese-Malaysian decent in June, 1980. The daughter of a surgeon, the family moved a lot when she was young, living in Malaysia, the USA and the UK, before finally returning to Singapore in 1991. After finishing high school, Anna moved to Australia to study medicine at Melbourne University and graduated in 2004. She worked in Melbourne and Bendigo for two years before returning to Singapore in 2007 to specialise in ophthalmology. So, of all parts of the body to specialise in, why eyes, you ask? Anna loves helping people, but also, to quote the woman herself, “No blood, no piss, no shit.”

Tim and Anna met in 2003 and, after Anna initially played hard to want, were  married in 2011. They have no intentions of having children, as they have killed a cactus, their terrapins grew to be morbidly obese before being abandoned in the botanical gardens and pretty much everything in their fish tank has died. Instead, they plan to spend as much time as possible traveling and using their skills to help others. Awwww.
